Revive2Thrive is Commissioner Garcia’s community initiative focused on making Harris County Precinct 2 the best place to live, work, and play. The goal is to invest in improving infrastructure, creating economic opportunities, and enhancing residents’ overall quality of life.

Reimagine Corridor Studies aim to revitalize Harris County Precinct 2’s streets for safety and vibrancy. Through community engagement and partnerships, we prioritize safety, integrate community input, and align with Vision Zero’s goal of zero traffic-related fatalities and injuries by 2030.

Approach

These projects follow a three-step process:

• Listen: Engage and listen to the community. We do this by having in-person meeting with key stakeholders, community meetings, and online surveys.

• Report: Our team gathers feedback, reports options, and presents tradeoffs back to the community.

• Finalize: The preferred option is finalized and presented for further feedback.
